My New Machine
Our 2 days at the PC fair ended up in a chase .... chasing the black BenQ ... wherever you go, its always that white one ... i don't know how many white notebooks are out there untouched ... but i wasn't easy surrendering to the white one ... its just too white i guess ...
after some wild search ... got my self on a Centrino duo 2.0Ghz machine, coz i needed speed, not battery life or what-so-ever ... installed the 2GB RAM directly ... it came with the neat GMA950 and normal high-end specs such as dvd-writer, SPDIF, .... and hey! .. a built-in webcam ... a 120GB HDD
it came empty though, you can only look at the BenQ JoyBook purple logo ... so i opted for the better windows XP ... not crazy to take windows vista ... it will suck up all the resources im trying to buy here ... anyway ... some development will be done using linux, so LINUX RULES!!!
another thing was that it's Driver CD was Vista-Based, so i had to go back and download all of the winXP drivers ... but thanks to the BenQ's Rich-website (free promo to benq)... i could easily get the drivers for XP ...
and with this .... it like a marriage ...now have to go and learn how to take care of it ... ;)

Hey! thanx ... and yah that was a chase ... no one had the black version ... so we had to "run" between KLCC n LowYat
Ooooohh ... my wife right ... you can call it hubby as long as its that important ... hehehe ...
