The FYB day! (its FYP ;)

Alslam and peace to ye all ...

It was the FYP showcase .. the day i have been waiting for since last year's showcase ... our "seniors" will show their final year projects and we decide ... we vote and we encourage ... or we may continue and enhance their works ...

There was a very tight race between 2 projects really,

1 - The Robots: an assembled robot from different parts fitted with a microchip, camera and can be controlled with wires ...

2- The Boolean toolkit ... which is a software that can generate truth tables and circuits diagrams from some input of AND OR XOR ... etc

These were both fascinating and I couldn't believe my eyes when i saw em ... running successfully ... except for those cockroach's-thing-like sensors ... which will go into nothing when hitting a v-shaped corner ... but building 2 robot models is a success by itself, assuming students with no electronics knowledge .. except for the famous Appendix-A of our computer architecture and assembly language book :)

As for the boolean toolkit, it was an interesting idea, and i always liked teaching tools that will make the student's life easier ... it can be actually used in Logic Design classes ..
It was a good day .. and all the best to the others such as the groovy VOIP and the WiMAX simulation (although i didn't see the simulator running ;) )

Now .. its contemplation time for our own project ... im stuck with so many ideas and need the idea that will sure succeed .. there is no place for a disaster or unfinished project .. it MUST be done ... and i hate taking risk when it comes to projects ...

My industrial attachment presentation may be done next week .. and its really unpredictable since i have no idea of procedure or Q n A session ... good luck to myself, i really need an A, not less , not less,, not less, not less, not less, not less, not less, not less .....

I WILL!!!!
