today .. on this Friday ... i got the shock of my life ... a depressing moment ... a tragedy ... a disaster ... its ....... its ..........
Provoking Nationalism from inside the Masjid... by an Ustaz ... and for those who don't know; Ustaz is a teacher .... or a person who gives talks ...
yah ... Nationalism and Racism from inside the Masjid ... he was talking about a certain race .. making it superior over the others ... mixing Islam with a race or a nation ... talking as if he never studied about how Islam separated itself from a certain nation or race ... and the famous hadith "There is no difference between an Arab and a non-Arab, except in fear of Allah"
He interpreted the hadith that says: give sadaqah to those near to you, by saying we should give sadaqah first to those from our race .... forgetting that sadaqah (charity) was for muslims ... the nearer Muslims .. and it aint about a race ...
no wonder people grow up with these ideas although they are Islamic-based ...
no wonder we can never Unite ... no wonder Islam and the Ummah will never be a reality ... and no wonder that no one noticed that he was wrong in what he said ...
and no wonder that 90% of people here dont understand the basics of Islam ...
so his speech was based on Racism that was generated from the Nationalist ideas he grew up with ...
What a disappointment .. Garbage ... and i was going to hear a motivating talk for the muslims ...
