The city of Kuala Lumpur & Me (series) ....1

Peace to all of you all out there ....

as an intro to this will-be controversial issue regarding KL'ians ... and those who may as well be freaked out reading this from a non-Malaysian ...

Let me clear out some points ...

Iv been living in this country - and specifically - K.L. for the past 18 years ... and for that period im sure that i know enough to talk about here ...

K.L is one of the smoothest-going capital iv been to , as i was at Abu Dhabi , Amman, Bangkok, Cairo and our own Khartoum ... so its quite unique in the sense that its expectable ... you can actually expect what will happen once you plan your journey ... it will be a quite journey for sure ... no one will ask you anything nor will you have to ask anyone ... life indeed is peaceful ...

but whats annoying sometimes are those "dead zombies" walking around town ... and I mean those humans who walk without activating their "eyes" ... they will be walking in their own world ... not looking at anything in-front of them ... hitting other people , bags, animals , trolleys , and might even step on your foot without even a single look of sympathy towards the "shocking" pain encountered .... and i must say ... hitting a person isn't something usual ...... some old ladies pushing their way to the counter ... causing a stampede remembers me of Tarzan's PS-1 adventure game when some wild beasts try to push Tarzan off the level .... or when you're waiting to cross the road when suddenly you find someone standing over the "10*10 cm" square of land between your feet and the road ...

but what to say ... live your life here ....

another thing to expect from some is the never-said word "Excuse Me" ... said "Maafkan Saya" ... in Malay ... a world rarely used as in English ... so someone can wait behind your back unnoticed till the end of days ... then giving you that angry look when you do notice ... So maaaaannn ... why didn't you say so ...

Its quite amazing ... you probably end up reaching office after hitting nearly 50 human beings on the way if you don't actually move in a zig-zag path ... and open your eyes REAL wide ...

and finally ... Maafkan Saya for speaking about my daily experiences ... (Maafkan saya means Im sorry - in this context)

walslam alikum ... (and Peace To all)
