well Sheika Lubna ... excuse me to use your statement and write my article .. but i will use in my own topic , and I'm not talking about unjustly-treated house-keepers ... but some of our own sisters ... our Muslim sisters who never change their behavior and attitude in public places ...
and don't worry feminists ... we will have another topic for men as well .. :)
so back to what behavior I'm talking about ...
1 - carelessness at shopping malls ... be it bending an L-bend, while wearing the so-called Hijab and a short T-shirt ... well girls ... this is called carelessness towards your own selves - maybe in their mind this world was created for them and they can be in any position they want at any place they desire .. if you don't care about your self .. do care about about the "weak" selves around you ...
2- considering the head cover as the full hijab is a very wrong understanding of the meaning ... hijab is covering the body according to some basic Islamic teachings and not about putting some piece of cloth over your head ...
The Hijab must be wide so that it does not outline the body of the woman and does not profile her body parts. It shouldn't be transparent or opaque.
3- If you still think that men should not look and they are the wrong-doers ... think of it logically ... and you will find us victims ..how??? we carry back with us many of the sins generated by looking at you ... and honestly there is no where to look at considering the increasing number of Muslim sisters who like to practice the game of (show me myself mirror on the wall, i know im the best of them all) ...
4- Islam states clearly what should be covered ... covering isn't just about covering the skin ... its covering the dimensions .... cannot add pictures here ... but many around this capital consider putting some (0.2 MicroCm) material can do the cover-up ... WRONG! ... i bet we can see whatever there is to be seen ...
5- and there those who create the joke ... i pakai hijab kat masjid lah (i wear the hijab at the prayer place only) ... well well ..we all know that Allah is everywhere and that we are accountable for what we do at any place ... what a joke ... and it only proves how light we take the basic Islamic teachings ... and the worst part ... as Muslims we are suppose to correct those acts ... but that never happens ... its a crime to give advice ...
6- Whats the difference between a Muslim sister and any other ... and by the way a sister is an Islamic word i like to use to refer to the other part in the gender's list ... and the answer , i see no difference if we continue to accept todays appearance of sisters as a usual thing ... IT A'INT USUAL ....
[[[[[So why are you extremist telling us what to wear??? we know our responsibility and we don't need your advice .... we know our limits ....some may say ...]]]]]
... it will only depend on you ... no one can force you .... and if you know the limits we wouldn't need all this post ... but I'm sure i was not in a "crazy" mode when writing this ...
